Our Singers
Quintessence provides opportunities for singers of all experience and skill levels, from professional singers, to committed volunteer choristers, to those who just want to sing in parks and pubs.
We welcome you to join our community of singers!
Quintessence
The Quintessence roster is comprised of 28-32 singers per concert, and includes both committed volunteer choristers and professional staff singers. Quintessence presents a four-concert season, with a particular focus on contemporary choral works.
Audition for Quintessence
Quintessence hears auditions on an ongoing basis. Quintessence members are expected to be fluent music readers, able to learn challenging repertoire on their own outside of group rehearsals, and experienced in singing in multiple languages.

Singing with Us
We are a community of singers and provide several ways for you to sing with us.
Our regular Park Sings are opportunities to gather outside and sing together in parks around Albuquerque!
The Beer Choir is the choir that sings while drinking beer! Join us at local pubs and breweries to sing and drink together.
Our Summer Choral Festival provides an opportunity for serious singers of all ages to spend a week together preparing and performing a major choral work with professional orchestra!
