"I have never been as moved by a piece of music as I was by [Luminous Night of the Soul], performed by Quintessence Choral Artists of the Southwest. It was an incredible afternoon of "Songs of Spiritual Devotion," directed by Matthew Greer and accompanied by Joel Becktell, cellist, Amy Greer, pianist, and members of a fine string quartet. Bravo to all, for bringing such glorious music to us in a beautiful way! If you have not heard this work by young Norwegian/American composer Ola Gjielo, you owe it to yourself to immerse yourself in his incredible music. Q also performed the companion piece, "Dark Night of the Soul," equally wonderful. The poetry to both pieces is amazing." Molly C.
"I never miss an event and always enjoy them so much. Thanks for all the beautiful music and hard work!" Camille C.
[I support Quintessence because] We need more music, beauty and laughter in this world. A.B.
"Laughter, check. Tears, check. Shenanigans, check. Quirkiness? Hell, yeah! Christmas, Quintessence style. I'd tell you more, but you really had to be there." Mary-Ellin B.
"It was such an amazing concert!!! Thank you Q for your hard work on such difficult music. You made it all sound easy. Thanks to you, I am forever a Triptych fan." Emerson C.
