The Quintessence Chorus
The Quintessence Chorus is made up of community members from various walks of life. Selected by audition, the highly talented members rehearse weekly for 6-8 weeks preparing incredible musical works. We have four professional staff singers who assist in the artistic awareness. We perform 4 concert sets a season, host an Annual Messiah Sing, Annual Summer Choral Festival, monthly Beer Choir, and perform at various functions throughout the the community and state.

Chorus Spotlight

A mezzo soprano who has sung all female voice parts, Vanessa Pezzutti began singing with Quintessence in the fall of 2018. She is also a member of the Quodlibet-ABQ Renasissance Choir.
In the past she has performed with the New Jersey Chamber Singers, Monmouth Civic Chorus, and played French horn in the Band of the Two Rivers in New Jersey.
As Business Management Professional at Sandia National Laboratories, she supports the team that provides research to the government regulator of nuclear power plants.
With parents sailing daily in the US Virgin Islands, and connections to relatives in her former home in New Jersey, the single singer is taking in all of the tourist sites in Albuquerque and looking forward to expanding her explorations to the rest of New Mexico, feeding her love of travel and learning about diverse populations.
